As a wreck enthusiast

A lame and hopeless
Ruin architect
I run a battle
In my inner museum
Rummaging through it all
In a loop
It’s not within my grasp
But it’s so close to my eyes
A self-inflicted curse forged in the deepest fears of a child
A collection of my anguishes recalling me: my cowardice !
I spent hours at night
Longing for something
That was a lie
Amongst my vanities
I’m nothing but a sleepwalker

We share our faith in this masquerade !
But as I stepped back to watch it from afar
I finally stumbled upon all your masks
So that’s what it's all about ?
I got myself out
Of this brittle stage
Maintained by reject
We play the slaves
In our own kingdom
But my fate was written
Onto the arms of teenagers
We’d better find a way through our own mess
Than being dragged along by gloomy clowns
Pile up your guise
And arise from the blinds
The ones you despise
High in the sky
But so close to the ground
Take a decision
A great masquerade!
